I feel this needs some explanation. A member of my family has Cystic Fibrosis and when I heard the lyric "As long as we keep smiling they'll never know, Put your Brave Face On" from Brave Face by Delta Goodrem I started thinking about what others might see when they think of my family member with CF. They see her 'Brave Face' what she wants them to see such as playing the clarinet, being a cricket nut and getting her wish granted. Then I thought about what goes on behind the scenes, what members of my family see, hospital admissions, being so far from home and not being able to talk whenever you want to. I added the roses as 65 roses is the symbol of CF. This drawing is from my perspective and I dedicate it to her and all the other people in the world who have a 'Brave Face'.
